Malo e lelei Sione,
Wow these facts have stunned me as I now know a great deal about my home country - New Zealand! If I had to pick my favourite fact it would have to be number three! It is so true and it really does deserve a spot on the tourist map! What's your favourite fact? I'd love to hear from you!

Malo e lelei Sione,

My name is Lee and I am one of the blog commentors for the Summer Learning Journey. Thankyou for starting the activities off so well!
I like the fact that you have chosen about Rotorua and how it was created by nature, not man. Have you ever been there? I have, and it's quite smelly. But it is also a nice place to visit. My favourite thing to do there was soak my feet in a warm pool in the park.
I agree Aoraki is a wonderful name for a mountain! Do you know any other maori names for mountains that we have in New Zealand?
Sione, you've made a great start. I can't wait to read more of your writing.
